Bruce C. Felton

SAUGERTIES…. Bruce C. Felton, 87, of Lodge Road died Thursday, August 16, 2018 at his residence.   Born October 28, 1930 in Syracuse he was the son of the late Leroy and Doris Felton.   A Saugerties area resident for many years he was employed for over 32 years at IBM in Kingston as a Senior Designer retiring in 1987.

            He was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club.   Bruce loved to fly and held licenses for light and commercial aircraft as well as a license as a certified aircraft mechanic.   He enjoyed the outdoors with activities including sailing, dirt bikes and snowmobiles.   In his later years he took up oil, water color and pastel painting.

            Predeceased by his wife, Barbara in 2016, survivors include a Son, Gregg and his wife Janet Felton, a Daughter, Lynn and her husband Scott Parker of Middletown.  4 Grandchildren: Rebecca Olson, Kassandra Meadows, Vincent and Tiffany Parker.   He was predeceased by his Sister, Barbara Becker.
