Diane Yetter Obituary

SAUGERTIES... . Diane Yetter, 58, of Washington Ave. Ext. died Saturday evening, June 2, 2018, at her home in her husbands arms, surrounded by her family. Born November 8, 1959 in Kingston she was the daughter of Rosie Chaturma and the late Alex Chaturma. A lifetime area resident she was a graduate of Saugerties High School Class of 1977 and later attended Columbia-Greene Community College where she was a member of the College Softball Team.

Active in the Community she was a member of the SAA Softball League, the Saugerties Bowlers Club and the Cementon Sportsman Club. A yearly volunteer of the Kiwanis Garlic Festival she was known behind the scenes as the "Garlic Queen". She was employed at the Mid Hudson Valley Foot Associates for Dr. Kellar and then for 15 years at the Benedictine Hospital.

Survivors besides her mother, Rosie of Cementon, include her husband, Robert W."Bobby" Yetter, son: Matthew A. Yetter, brother: Joseph Chaturma, mother in law: Joan Ann Martin, special friends: Freddie Carrasquillo and Ellen Ibbotson, several nieces and nephews and her furry friends, Maggie Mae, Heidi, Elle Bean. Predeceased by her beloved pets: Dylan, Ripple, Belle Marie, Buckwheat, Smokey, Poppi, Sweetie, Gibson, Elizabeth Ivana and Jack.

Diane's Family would like to thank Dr. Andrade, his staff, Jody and Kelly,Audrey and Tara of the Benedictine Infusion Center, Sister Dorothy, Rev. Ya Ya, and Dr. Michael Halstead of the Lake Katrine Animal Hospital.

Her Funeral Procession will form 9:15 AM Friday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts. Thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 10:00 A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Church Yard Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Saugerties Public Library.
