Richard Bach

SAUGERTIES….. Richard M. Bach, 82, of W. Saugerties-Woodstock Rd. died Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Ferncliff Nursing Home, Rhinebeck.  Born September 22, 1935 in Saugerties he was the son of the late Charles and Nellie Bach.  A Veteran of the US Army he was a self employed carpenter and the former caretaker of the Mt. Marion Cemetery for many years.   He was a member of the Saugerties VFW Post #5034 where he was head chef  each Labor Day at the Annual VFW Bar-B-Que.  He was also a member of the Saugerties Ridge Runners.

            Survivors include a Sister, Ruth (Noshir)Dhondy and a Brother, Leslie Bach both of Saugerties.  Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.  He was predeceased by his siblings: Dale, William, Charles and Robert Bach.

            His Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts.   Burial with military honors will follow in the Blue Mt.
