Adam Smith Obituary

SAUGERTIES…Adam R. Smith, 34, of Houtman Rd., dearly loved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 10, 2020 at his residence. Adam is survived by his parents, Leslie and Veronica Smith, brother, Cody (Chantal) Smith; sister, Jenny Smith; niece, Everly Smith, a soon to be nephew; his dog Melo; and his very close friends; Frazer, David, Aaron, Peco, Dan, among many others. He worked as the Director of Operations (Albany branch) at Rockland County Bakery. His charity work included donating supplies to local shelters and families in need.

Born May 7th, 1985, Adam enjoyed collecting sneakers, ice cream sandwiches, listening to all types of music, as well as watching sports; especially the Dallas Cowboys, NY Knicks and classic WWF Wrestling. Everyone that knew Adam can attest that he constantly tried his hardest. If he cared about something, he wanted to do it, and do it well. If he was interested in something, He strived to learn everything there was to know about that topic. He enjoyed learning and conversing about conspiracy theories, and documentaries. Adam loved everyone. He wanted to know how your day was, how your job was going, how your kids were doing, etc. He genuinely cared about every single person he came in contact with. More than anything, he valued his family.

In the interest of public safety and the mandates of the Governor of NYS his funeral service will be held privately.   A public service will be announced by the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc. cor. of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.
