Adrienne Nieffer Obituary
Adrienne F. Nieffer, 87, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. She was the only child of the late William H. Fiero and Evelyn Longendyke Fiero. She graduated from Saugerties High School and spent her entire life in the Katsbaan area. Adrienne attended college in New Paltz for one year with her sights set on becoming a kindergarten teacher but changed her mind to become a bride at age 19. She remained married to her husband for 68 years.
Adrienne was a long-time member of the Katsbaan Reformed Church and was active in the Ladies Aid. In addition, she spent several years singing with the Sweet Adelines choral group in Kingston.
Adrienne was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Nieffer. Survivors include Jodi Scribner, Heidi Quick, Amy Baker, Gretchen Coss, Lori Kay and Marci Smedek.
A small, private graveside service will be held and burial will be at Katsbaan Cemetery.
