Alene (Overbaugh) Woerthman

SAUGERTIES……Alene Woerthman, 74, of Livingston St. died Saturday, April 2, 2022 in the Golden Hill Rehabilitation Center.  Born November 13, 1947 in Saugerties she was the daughter of the late Harry and Alice Overbaugh.  A lifetime area resident, Alene was a former employee of the Town of Saugerties Recreation Department.   She volunteered her time for many of the Saugerties Athletic Association Golf Tournaments as the unofficial, official photographer. 

Predeceased by her husband, George in December of 2019 survivors include her siblings: Leslie Mergendahl, Carolyn Baldinger, Martha Carrier, William and Richard Overbaugh.    Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Her Funeral Service will be held 12 noon Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette sts., Saugerties.  Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Barclay Heights.   Friends will be received Wednesday 3:00-5:00 PM.  Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Alene’s Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
