Anna Jones Obituary
MT. MARION - Anna Jones, 84, of South Rd. died Saturday, April 11, 2026 at her residence. Born June 5, 1941 in Karlsruhe, Germany she was the daughter of the late Karl and Ida Berg. Survivors include her husband, Gerry Jones, a daughter, Heidi (Tim) Cavanaugh of CT., and two sons: Glenn (Pam) Jones of Mt. Marion and Gregg Jones of Saugerties. Three grandchildren: Marissa, Adrianna and Corey and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by two sisters: Rita Friedrich and Doris Grasser.
Her Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Burial will follow in Mt. Marion Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday 4-7:00 PM. Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Cancer Society, St. Jude's or a charity of your choice.
