Arnold E. Benjamin

SAUGERTIES……Arnold E. Benjamin, 84, of Nelson Hoff Rd., died Monday, October 23, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family.   Born November 18, 1938 in New Paltz he was the son of the late Claude and Helen Benjamin. 

A Veteran of the US Marine Corp, upon his honorable discharge he began a career at Central Hudson Gas and Electric as a sub station electrician.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara, two daughters: Christie Petersen of Virginia Beach and Debbie Burdge of Saugerties.   A sister, Joyce Struber of Saugerties, seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

His Funeral service will be held privately.   Family suggests donations in his memory be made to the Wounded Warrior Project  www.woundedwarriorproject.org.  Arrangements were under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc.
