Barbara A. Curry

Barbara A. Curry, 78, of High Falls Rd. passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the Northeast Rehab Center in Lake Katrine.

Born December 22, 1946 in NYC she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mildred Beatrice Mayer.    A Saugerties area resident for most of her life, she was a dedicated RN for 46+ years, formerly employed at Benedictine and Kingston Hospital.  

Barbara loved to travel! She especially enjoyed the sand and sun of any beach with a cool drink in hand. She had a strong love of animals, and interior design. A very dedicated wife and mother, her family was her life and it could easily be seen by all. 

Predeceased by her husband, Robert T. Curry in 2007, survivors include a son, Robert (Pornchanok Tuancharoensri) Curry; step son, John Curry of Kingston; step daughter, Leslie Curry of S. Dakota; sister, Phyllis Longtoe of Maine and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother, Louis Mayer Jr. and sister, Margaret Warren.

Her Funeral Procession will form 9:30 AM Monday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Friends will be received on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.   Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Barbara's Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
