Barbara E. Venett

SAUGERTIES…. Barbara E. Venett, 63, of Mt. View Ave., died Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Kingston City Hospital.   Born January 10, 1958 in Susquehanna, PA. she was the daughter of the late Richard and Bertha Nabinger. 
Survivors include her husband, Michael T. Venett, with whom she recently celebrated their 36th  Wedding Anniversary.  Two daughters: Hannah and her husband, Darren Lareau of  Mt. Marion and Alyssa and her husband, Joshua Budik of Saugerties.  Four grandchildren, Lorelai, Bryce, Carolina, and Baby Lareau.  Her siblings, Carol Bushaw of Deposit, Deana (David) Phelps of TN., Jeffrey (Crystal) Nabinger of Fla., Cathy (Bill) Madden of Windsor, Jenni (Nick) Austin of Harpursville and Leland (Penny) Nabinger of Afton, Dan (Judy) Walter of NY., Dave (Deb) Walter of OH., Susan Walter of NY., and mom, Carol Walter of NY.  Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her grandparents Lawrence and Blanche Walter as well as dad, Lawrence Walter. 
Bobbi dedicated her life to the service of others. After graduating from college she worked as an elementary teacher in various schools for ten years. She then raised and homeschooled both of her daughters, while running a daycare in her home. Bobbi later became the director of The Pregnancy Support Center of Saugerties and held that position for seven years. During her  time there she counseled innumerable families and saved countless lives. She will be missed by all who knew her and remembered for her love.
Her Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Monday at the Cross Point Church, Hurley Ave., Kingston.  Friends will be received Monday 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Church.   Burial will follow in the Blue Mt. Cemetery, Saugerties.  Family suggests donations in her memory be made to Faith House in Walden or Ryan House in Saugerties.  Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Barbara’s Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
