Belinda Robinson

SAUGERTIES….. Belinda “B” Robinson, 73, of Rte. 9W and formerly of Finger St., died Wednesday, November 2, 2022 surrounded by her family at her residence.   Born May 4, 1949 in Saugerties she was the daughter of the late George and Katherine Stewart Terpening.  A lifelong area resident she was a graduate of Saugerties High School Class of 1967. She was a retired teaching assistant at the Mt. Marion Elementary School.

She was a member of the NYS Teacher’s Assoc., a former member of the Saugerties Bowlers Club Friday Nite league and the SAA softball and volleyball leagues.

Survivors include her husband, Doug, with whom she recently celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary.   A daughter, Jennifer Robinson-Steipp and her husband, James, a stepdaughter, Lisa and her husband, Craig Horn.  A brother, George J. (Eileen Williams) Terpening, two sisters: Sandra Terpening and Melissa (Phil Palladino) Nevil.  Two grandchildren: Connor and Alyssa Horn, beloved cousin, Tulu McMonegal, sister-in-law, Jill Robinson, nephew, Sean McCormick, nieces: Krista Nevil, Jordan Terpening Goss, Tracey, Patty and Amy McCormick.  

A special thank you to Dr. Rosemary DeLeo for the many years of loving care that she gave to Belinda. 

Her Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.  Interment will follow in the Blue Mt. Cemetery.  Friends will be received Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the George Terpening Memorial Park Flag Pole Fund, c/o Jennifer Robinson-Steipp, PO Box 936, Saugerties. Expressions of condolence and photo memories may be shared with the family on her Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com.
