Bert loved playing cards and watching Westerns (his “Cowboys”), hockey, and baseball. He also enjoyed playing hockey in his younger years and watching his grandsons’ and nephews’ games at the Kiwanis Ice Arena. Uncle Bert could frequently be found at Cantine Field watching his nephews play baseball.
He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 67 years Jacqueline (nee Vallieres) and daughter Diane Faraday (Philip). He was predeceased by his son Ronald. Beloved grandfather to Kevin (Cameron), Ryan (Alexandra) and Caitlin. Beloved great-grandfather to Amelia, Jack, and a great-granddaughter to be. He is also survived by two sisters Doris Latendresse (Donat) and Heloise Audet (Armand) and his brother Berthold (Germaine). He is predeceased by his brothers Leopold, Aurele (Rita), and Florian (Monique). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
