Brett Chauncey Obituary
Brett R. Chauncey, 46, of Pamal Lane died Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at her residence. Born January 7, 1979 in Kingston she was the daughter of Gary Chauncey and Joan Bruno. Brett was a graduate of Saugerties High School and went on to college to earn a degree in Veterinary Technology. She was employed for several years at the Hurley Veterinary. When she was not working Brett enjoyed traveling and being with animals.
Besides her parents, survivors include a brother, Paul (Brigid) Chauncey of Saugerties and a sister, Loren (Jaysen) Abrehamsen, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Her Service of Remembrance will be held 3 PM, Monday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Interment will follow in the Blue Mt. Cemetery, Saugerties. Friends will be received on Monday August 25th from 1-3:00 PM. Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Saugerties Animal Shelter or the American Cancer Society.
