Bruce Freligh Obituary

Bruce Freligh, age 78 departed this life on Saturday 6-12-2021 at Huntsville Post Acute and Rehab Center in Huntsville TN.  Born September 7, 1942 in Saugerties NY to the late Ted Freligh and Leona Freligh.  Bruce was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving 7 years in the AMR Airforce over seas.  Upon returning Bruce was employed by IBM for 24 years before retiring, and was settled in Saugerties until 2019 when he moved to TN.   Bruce had a passion for the outdoors, hunting and fishing his entire life.  Later in life, he shared that passion by becoming a hunter education instructor and volunteered with the NYS DEC as a hunter education instructor.  He was a life member of the Saugerties Fish and Game club and Upper Esopus Fish and Game Club.      

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dee Freligh and his daughter Renee Neiderer Freligh, and his brother Ted Pfeiffer.

He is survived by his sister Susan Morse, his son Mark Freligh and his wife Leslie Harris, grandchildren Kimberly Harris, Sarah Neiderer, Jarrod Neiderer, and their Father Don Neiderer and other relatives and friends. 

The Family wishes to send a very special thank you to their friends and family who reached out during Bruce’s passing.  On Friday July 30, 2021 at 1:00 pm, Bruce will be laid to rest in Blue Mountain Cemetery next to his wife, with a brief grave side service.   Arrangements for burial service provided by Seamon Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., cor. of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.
