SAUGERTIES…. Carlton P. Whitaker of Myer Lane died Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY. Born June 9, 1954 in Kingston he was the son of the late Edmund and Lorraine Whitaker. A lifetime area resident he was a 1973 graduate of Saugerties High School and was employed at Ferroxcube in Saugerties for many years as a electrician. He was a life member of the Glasco Fire Dept. joining in 1975.
Survivors include his wife, Marie, a son, James P. and his wife, Crystal Whitaker of Saugerties. Two grandchildren: Sabrina and Madison Whitaker both of Saugerties. A brother, Edmund Whitaker and a sister, Judy Mletzko both of Kingston. He was predeceased by two brothers, William and Leonard Whitaker.
His Funeral Service will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
