SAUGERTIES - Charles M. Thomson, 77, of Rte. 212 died Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Health Alliance Hospital, Mary's Ave. Kingston. Born January 3, 1947 in Bronx, NY he was the son of the late Lawrence and Helen Thomson. A veteran of the US Navy, he served during the Vietnam War. He was employed for many years at Miron Lumber in Kingston and later at Elna Magnetics in Saugerties. He enjoyed carpentry, music, cooking, and spending time with his family and grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, the former Bonnie Sinsapaugh, one daughter, Aubree (Mike) Parr of Esopus, two grandkids Emma and Keegan Parr, a sister, Susan Thomson of Las Vegas; a son, Charles M. Lawrence also survives.
His Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Friends will be received on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 am.
