Christopher George Obituary

WEST CAMP…. Christopher E. George, 58 of West Camp Rd. died December   9, 2021 at the Kingston Hospital after a brief illness.   Born October 5, 1963 in Buffalo he was the son of the late Edwin and Beryl George.
An area resident since 1987 he owned and operated Timberwall Construction for many years. Chris graduated with an Associates degree in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice from Tompkins-Cortland Community College. Shortly thereafter, he moved to the Saugerties area and began his love for the building trade. Chris especially loved working with bluestone-which is showcased throughout his property.
With his lifelong best friend, Chris also accomplished (3)- 70 mile canoe marathons beginning in Cooperstown, NY and finishing in Bainbridge, NY 
 Survivors include his wife, Gwenda, with whom he recently celebrated their 34th Wedding Anniversary.  Two daughters: Rachel and her husband Tyler Brown of Kingston and Natalie George of West Camp.  A son, Daniel George of West Camp.  Two Brothers: Jeffrey (Jill) George of Honesdale, PA. and Gregory (Lisa) George of Omaha, Nebraska, a sister, Linda (Thomas) Bridges of Roanoke, VA.  Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
His Funeral Service will be held 1PM Tuesday at the Cross Point Church, Hurley Ave., Kingston with the Rev. Peter Shults officiating.  Friends will be received at the church prior to the service from 11:00 -1:00, Interment will be held privately.  Further obituary information and expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Chris’s Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
