Daniel P. Brady

Daniel P. Brady, 63, of W. Saugerties-Woodstock Rd. died Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the Benedictine Hospital.  Born Dec. 3, 1960 in Kingston he was the son of Shirley Law Brady.   A graduate of Saugerties High School  Class of 1979, Danny was employed for the Dept. of Justice in Danbury, CT and later for J. Mullens and Son in Saugerties.   

Dan served his community as a Life Member of the Cedar Grove Fire Dept., a Past Chief and Commissioner of the Centerville Fire District.  He was an avid hunter and golfer and was a member of the Manorville Mill Softball Team.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, the former Geraldine “Gerry” O’Boye; son, Christopher (Jess) Brady; two daughters: Debra Brady and Theresa (James) Dayton all of Saugerties; six grandchildren: Liam Patrick Dayton, Hayden Daniel, Makenna Mae, Gavin Brooks, James Thomas and Lilly Brady;  nephew, Sean Brady; nieces Brandy Marie, Shannon Nicole and cousin Jean Reilly. 

His Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts.,Saugerties.  Visitation will be held Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Family suggests donations in his memory be made to the Cedar Grove Fire Dept., POB 422, Saugerties, NY 12477.  Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
