Dennis Yankowski

Dennis S. Yankowski, 72 of Pearland, Texas passed away Saturday, July 1st, 2023 at Houston Memorial Hospital after a long illness.  He was born on February 17, 1951 in Catskill, N.Y.  The son of the late Edward Yankowski and June Swart.  Graduate of  Onteora High School, Class of 1970.  His passion for cooking started at Dot’s Ice Cream Parlor in Woodstock, N.Y. and continued for many years at Salvucci’s restaurant.  Upon moving to Texas, he was employed by Halliburton-Brown & Root for 41 years as a maintenance technician until he retired in 2018.  Dennis was an avid sportsman and enjoyed returning home to New York for hunting and fishing with family members.  He had an insatiable love for lobster and seafood.  He is survived by his partner, Suzanne Reimers, Daughters Denise and Katherine Yankowski.  His Siblings Darlene Foucher (Twin Sister), Dale Chase, Douglas Yankowski, Blake and Robert Swart, Ragan and Kyle Graves, Stacey and Monty Weeks, Marcus and Gina Swart.  His grandchildren Kasaundra Lynn, Bradley Edward and Angelina Grace. Nieces and nephews Charles and Perry Naccarato, Jennifer Warns.  His Goddaughter Devon Rose Yankowski, Chase and Tyler Graves, Zachary and Faith Weeks, and Tyler Swart.  He is predeceased by siblings, Donna Naccarato, Wallace Swart, and Kirsten.
