Donald Cutler

Donald Cutler, 76, of Dutchtown Rd., died Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the Kingston Hospital. He was born in Saugerties on June 8, 1947, to the late John and Mildred Reynolds Cutler. He attended Kingston High School until he enlisted in the US Navy in June 1964. He was honorably discharged in February 1972 with the rank of HT2 Grade E5.

He retired in 2015 as the yard supervisor with Kingston Block and Supply. He was also the vice commander for American Legion Post 1748, Lake Katrine and member of VFW Post 1386, Kingston. 

He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, mowing lawns and helping others. 

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Georgette (Carlson); sister, Darlene (Art) Appollonia; brother-in-law, Erik (Stacy) Carlson; sister-in-law, Elsa Carlson; several cousins, many friends and pets, Rosie and Cindy Lou. He was predeceased by his sister, Donna Cutler and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

His Funeral Service will be held 1pm Monday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., corner of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Burial will follow in the Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
