SAUGERTIES - Dorothy Cappello of Birchwood Dr. South died Thursday October 31, 2024 at the Health Alliance Hospital, Mary's Ave., Kingston. Born August 21, 1937 in Manhattan she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Agnes Cappello. She was employed for many years as the night supervisor at the ARC Apartments in Barclay Heights.
Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Granison and Marie Ellen Cappello. Two godsons: Matthew and Dylan Holmes and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her brothers: Dominick, Carl and Vincent Cappello, Jr.
Her Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Joseph's RC Church in Glasco. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.
