Edward H. Kime

GLASCO….. Edward H. Kime, 81, of Delaware St., died Sunday, March 19, 2023 surrounded by his family.  Born July 20, 1941, he was the son of the late Edward and Louise Cashara Kime.  A lifetime Glasco resident, he worked over 20 years at IBM after his job at Pilgrim Furniture.  A lover of sports, Ed was an avid NY Mets and Jets fan, and played for many years in the SAA Softball League for the Glasco AC.  He volunteered as member of the Glasco Fire Department and participated in the Glasco Gun Club.  He was a passionate hunter who shared his love of the outdoors with his family.  He worshiped regularly at St. Joseph’s RC Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth of 60 years, his daughter, Brenda (Chris) Igoe, two brothers: Joseph (Giulia) Kime of Glasco and Frank (Mary Jo) Kime of Saugerties, a sister, Dolores (Bill) Williams of Kingston, son-in-law, Richard Geick, three grandchildren: Jacob Geick, Hunter (Jillian) and Brett Igoe, and several nieces and nephews.  His daughter, Dawn Geick, predeceased him.

His Funeral Procession will form 9:45 AM Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties, thence to St. Joseph’s RC Church in Glasco where at 10:30 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  A memorial Tribute Book will be organized using condolences and photos shared at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
