Elizabeth Freer Obituary
Elizabeth A. Freer, 58 of Main Street died peacefully Tuesday June 20, 2023 at her residence. Elizabeth was born on June 23, 1964 to the late William T. and Beverly Ouellette Freer. She graduated Saugerties High School Class of 1982, earned her Associates Degree in Business from Columbia Green Community College and continued to receive a Secretarial Degree in Boston, MA.
Over the years Liz was employed as a Legal Aid in Kingston, at Clarke Checks Inc in Kingston, at Simulaids in Woodstock and most recently at Howard Johnsons in Saugerties as a Marketing Manager. Elizabeth was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Snow Church in Saugerties.
Liz brought a smile or laugh to every conversation. Her nieces and nephews always enjoyed her company and joking with her.
Survivors include her brothers William "Fred" Freer Jr., Robert Freer, Steven (Kelly) Freer and her sister, Kathleen (Keith) Studt; a special person dear to her heart, Alesia A. Carras; nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly include Robert Freer, Courtney (Chris) Cichetti & grandniece Cecelia, Steven Freer, Mallory, Carly & Brendan Studt.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday June 26th at St. Mary of the Snow Church where a 10:30am funeral mass will be offered. A memorial service date to follow. Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
