Florence Freligh Obituary

SAUGERTIES….. Florence L. Freligh, 79, of Ulster Ave. died Sunday, January 15, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born July 5, 1943 in Saugerties she was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn Freligh. A lifetime area resident, Florence enjoyed bowling in the Friday Nite Women’s League in Saugerties.

Survivors include three sons: Albert Short of Mesa, AZ., Edward Short of Cumberland, PA., and Brian Short of Denver, CO. A daughter, Kelly Bullock of Kingston. Two brothers, John Freligh of Saugerties and Gordon Freligh of Charlotte, NC and a sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Legg of Saugerties. 12 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by a brother, Bill Keller and a nephew, James Freligh II.

Her Funeral Service was held privately. Arrangements were under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Expressions of condolence may be shared with Florence’s family on her Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
