Florence P. Wynne

WEST CAMP….. Florence M. Wynne, 96, of Old Rte. 9W died Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. She was born on September 29, 1925 in Cementon to the late Roy and Estella Potts.  A lifetime area resident, Florence was employed for over 18 years in the Saugerties Senior High School cafeteria where she formed many bonds with the student population.  She was a lifetime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in West Camp and its Ladies Auxiliary.  She loved to bake, tend to her flower gardens and create ceramics for her family.

Predeceased by her husband, Dan, survivors include three sons: Daniel P. Jr. (Lynn), Terrance M. (Susan) and Timothy R. (Stephanie) Wynne.  A sister, Anita Kulencavich, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.   She was predeceased by a brother, Mervin Potts.

Her Funeral Procession will form 9:15 Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties thence to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where at 10:00AM her funeral service will be conducted.  Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  Family suggests donations in her memory be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 47, West Camp, NY 12490.  Further obituary information and expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Florence’s Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
