Francis J. "Frank" Cafaldo

GLASCO - Francis J. "Frank" Cafaldo, 83, of York St. died Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Albany Medical Center surrounded by his family.  Born January 27, 1942 in Glasco he was the son of the late John and Rose Qualtere Cafaldo.  A lifetime area resident he was a graduate of Saugerties High School and was employed for over 35 years at Ferroxcube.  He was a member of the Glasco Fire Dept. and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  In his later years he was in charge of building and grounds of the Dominican Sisters property off of Spaulding Lane.

Survivors include four sons: Frank and his wife, Debbie of Calabash, NC, Christopher of Saugerties, Kevin of Glasco and Robert Cafaldo of Kannapolis, NC.     Two grandchildren: Nicholas and Olivia and their mom, Stacy, his best friends, Joe Palumbo and Joe Mayone and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Theresa, Peter J. and his wife Esther Cafaldo and a daughter in law, Regina Cafaldo.

His Funeral Service will be held 5:30 PM Tuesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.  Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM.  Expressions of condolence may be shared with Frank's family on his Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
