Obituary
F. George Kruger, 85, of Accord, NY died July 11, 2023. George grew up in neighboring Krumville and lived all his years in the area. In his younger years, he enjoyed racing on the dirt track in Accord, and later he worked for the Ulster County Department of Public Works as a mechanic for 18 years, retiring in 2000. His friends regarded George as a whiz at repairing cars and trucks and as someone always willing to help. George also loved wildlife, hunting, and doing crossword puzzles, and many looked forward to his annual yard sale. He is survived by his sister, Heidi Westcott of Palm Bay, FL, nieces Joan Arnold of Naugatuck, CT, Jamie Norris of Palm Coast, FL, Jackie White of Grant Valkaria, FL, and nephews Robert Parmelee of Bethlehem, CT, and Richard Westcott of Boca Raton, FL, and several grand nieces and nephews.
