Ian J. Norcross, who was born on March 29, 1980, in Cold Spring, NY and passed away on May 14, 2026, in Plattekill, NY, will be remembered with love as a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence brought warmth and steadiness to the lives of others.
He was the beloved son of Raymond and Maureen Norcross. Ian shared a loving marriage of nine years with his wife, Alissa Norcross, and their life together was filled with companionship, shared experiences, and many treasured memories. He was a caring brother to Roger Norcross and his wife Mandy of Saugerties, and to Ed Norcross of Plattekill. He was also a proud uncle to his nephews and niece, Cortland and Cameron Norcross, Maddax, Rowan, Radley, and Eleanor Whitaker, who brought him great joy.
Ian worked as a sheet metal foreman for B&A Sheet Metal, where he was respected for his work ethic, reliability, and dedication. He took pride in doing his job well and approached his work with the same quiet strength and commitment that he brought to all areas of his life. His colleagues and those who knew him through his work will remember him as a dependable man who could always be counted on.
Ian was most happy being outdoors, finding joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. Hunting and fishing were among his favorite times, and he also found satisfaction in gardening, where he could nurture growth and enjoy the rewards of patience and care. He especially loved to travel with his wife, and those journeys together were among the experiences he cherished most. Whether near home or away, he valued time spent making memories with the person he loved.
His funeral service will be held 11AM Thursday at Seamon Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc.. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. Please share a memory or photo of Ian on his Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
