James E. Barbosa

SAUGERTIES...James Emanuel Barbosa, Jr., 61, of Pine Grove School Rd., died Monday, September 4, 2023 at his family's home. He was born in Kingston on July 25, 1962 to James Emanuel Barbosa, Sr. and the late Shirley A. Krom. He was a US veteran honorably discharged from the US Army. James was an avid NY Giant fan and enjoyed camping and fishing.

Survivors include his father James (Goldie) Barbosa; son, Louis Terpening; sisters, Heather Wilber and Tammy Barbosa; step siblings, Shirley, Carl, Cathy, Lewis, Myrtle and James and uncle Kenny.  He was predeceased by a brother, Steven Barbosa.

His Funeral Service will be held 8:30 pm Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., corner of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Visitation will be prior to service from 7-8:30 pm. Condolences may be shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
