SAUGERTIES - James R. Brown, Jr., 43, unexpectedly passed away at his home on February 10, 2024. He was born on July 8, 1980 in Kingston. Jimmy was fun to be around and a graduate of Saugerties High School class of 2000. His hobbies included gaming, "Stand Up Comedy," music, golf, creative writing, drawing and at times being a "short order cook." Jimmy was a thoughtful young man. A beautiful soul who will be forever loved and missed.
He was predeceased by his dad, James Halwick. Survivors include his mom, Denise Halwick; brothers, Logan Halwick and Jarrett (Mary) Halwick; sister, Alisha (Ryan) Olive; one nephew; three nieces; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
"He went away without a farewell. He did not get a chance to say goodbye. But there will be a day when Heavens' gates are open, and we will see him again."
