James McLernon

James M. McLernon, 79, of Lady's Ln., died Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. He was born on October 16, 1943 in Bronx, NY to the late Henry and Martha Gilmore McLernon. He owned and operated James McLernon Salon in White Plains, NY before moving to Saugerties. As a successful hairdresser, he was most proud of his training with the famous British Hairstylist, Vidal Sassoon.
Survivors include his son, Matthew (Kayla Benson) McLernon; daughter, Tia (George) Fraser; grandchildren, Mia Benson-McLernon, Kate Fraser and Jasper Garrison-Fraser and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kate Rose McLernon and sister, Ann Arnold.
