Jason S. Sasso

SAUGERTIES...Jason Sasso, 39, of Rte. 32, tragically died Thursday, March 4, 2021 in Webb, NY after injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident. He was born in Kingston on November 7, 1981 to Stephen and Cheryl Mauro Sasso. He graduated Saugerties High School with the class of 2000. A friendly salesman at Sawyer Motors for many years, he was heavily involved in the Saugerties Community. He was a member of the Saugerties Powerboat Association and played SAA softball for many years.  He enjoyed summer boating with family and friends in Lake George and on the Hudson River as well as weekend trips during the winter in Old Forge.  He was always the life of the party.  Gathering family together for holidays and impromptu dinners was something he wholeheartedly enjoyed.  It was a way for him to hold on to and pass on the Italian family traditions that he was so proud of and held close to his heart.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his soulmate Tiffany Ivino, daughters, Caitlynn and Livinia, brother, Stephen (Stevie), niece, Lillianna, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
His Funeral Procession will form 9:15 am Wednesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., cor. of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial be offered. Interment will be at a later date.
