Jeremy S. Budik

Our gentle giant, Jeremy Budik, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the early morning of December 8, 2021. He was born September 28, 1997 to Scott and Cheryl Budik.  He was lovingly homeschooled along with his brothers, by their mom, and graduated in 2016.

He enjoyed electronic and mechanical gizmos.  He was to many friends an IT guy, cellphone guy, sound system guy, and just a good friend. At 24, he was a helping friend to many, even when some weren’t nice  to him.

He is survived by his mom and dad, brothers Josh (Alyssa) Budik, Jonathan Budik, and Wil Budik, paternal grandmother, Barbara Budik., Aunts and uncles; Ellen Andersen, Brenda (Ed) Reuss,  and Sue (Bill) Andersen. Cousins; Jay (Marissa) Andersen, Dave (Jenn) Andersen, Julie Andersen and partner Dylan Large, Andy Engle, and Garrison Engle. Nieces; Lorelai  and Carolina Budik whom he loved dearly and many other cousins and great aunts and uncles.  He leaves behind the family dog, Bullet, and family cats; Wiggles and Giggles.  Jeremy is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Wil and Astrid Andersen and paternal grandfather, Joe Budik.  A great uncle , Dr. Jim Ward, to whom he was very special, went home to be with the Lord earlier this year, and has greeted him warmly in heaven, as well.

Those Jeremy leaves behind will see those giant tracks everywhere left by a humble honest gentleman.

His Funeral Service will be conducted 10:00 AM Wednesday at the 1st Baptist Church of Rhinebeck, 9 Astor Drive, Rhinebeck, NY.  Friends will be received Tuesday 3:00 – 5:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at the 1st Baptist Church.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc.
