Obituary

SAUGERTIES….. John R. Bannen, 52, formerly of Saugerties died August 20, 2023 at the DeSoto Memorial Hospital in Arcadia, Florida. Born November 4, 1970 in Wawarsing, he is the son of Dolores Bannen and the late Walter Bannen. A graduate of Saugerties High School Class of 1990, John was self employed in the construction field. When not working he enjoyed spending free time fishing.

Besides his mother, Dolores of Saugerties, he has a sister, Jean Bannen of Liberty.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 19th at St. Mary of the Snow RC Church in Saugerties. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts, Saugerties.
