SAUGERTIES……John J. Kelly, 60, of Burt St., died Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the Health Alliance Hospital, Mary’s Ave. Born September 22, 1962 in Poughkeepsie he was the son of the late Francis and Carol Kelly. A 1980 graduate of FDR High School in Hyde Park, John lettered in varsity football and baseball. He more recently played in the SAA Softball League.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara, a daughter, Lara Burr of Rosendale, a step son, Thomas Colon of Kingston, a brother, Frank and his wife Lynda of South Carolina, a sister, Catherine Brinkman of Fla. A sister in law, Ramona Kelly of Fla. Two grandchildren, Rebecca and Meadow Burr. He was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Kelly.
His Mass of Christian burial will be offered 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Mary of the Snow RC Church in Saugerties. Arrangements are under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.
