SAUGERTIES….. Joseph Cuchelo, 54, of Malden Ave. died Friday, June 16, 2023 at the Kaplan Hospice in Newburgh after a lengthy illness. Born March 25, 1969 in Poughkeepsie he is the son of Carolyn Rankin and the late Joseph Cuchelo, Sr.
An area resident for several years, Joe was a talented musician. He played left handed bass in several bands. He played in The Ambassadors, Scratch Baxter, Bitter Little Dutch Boy, Peacebomb, Ultra Maroon, Perfect Thyroid, MK Ultra and 3. He was an inspiration to many and toured the United States several times.
Besides his mother of Kerhonkson, survivors include his wife, Erin, three daughters: Breena, Danny and Max, his siblings Mark, Michael, Paul and Michelle Cuchelo.
His Funeral Service will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Joe’s Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
