SAUGERTIES…Joyce E. Tompkins, 89, of Main St., died suddenly and peacefully Thursday May 14, 2020 at the Kingston Hospital. She was born on May 1, 1931 in Saugerties to the late Arnold and Sarah Latham Fiero. Joyce was a member of the Sawyer class of 1947, serving as Editor for the yearbook. In her later years she was a long-time and active member of the Historical Society and volunteered many hours at the Well. Joyce was an avid student of history and was considered an eminent genealogist of the Fiero family.
