Judith Corbett

Judith Corbett, of Catskill View Circle, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, November 30, 2025. She was born on August 25, 1941, in Shamokin, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Stutz.

A resident of the area since 1966, Judith was a registered nurse who dedicated many years of care to the Kingston Hospital patients and later served as a substitute nurse at Saugerties High School. She cherished time spent cooking for her family and experimenting with new recipes. A talented decorative painter, she enjoyed sharing her artwork at local craft shows. Judith and her husband, Donald, also delighted in playing bridge several times a week at the Saugerties Senior Center, a pastime they enjoyed for many years.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Donald; two daughters, Katherine (John) Scheffel of Saugerties and Elizabeth (John) O’Pezio of Berne, NY; and two grandsons, Jason and Zachary Scheffel.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., at the corner of John and Lafayette Streets in Saugerties. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
