BLOOMINGTON...Judith E. Dombrowski, 86, of Slater St., died Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. She was born on July 18, 1936 to the late Edgar and Lucy Tyler Carr. From a young age she valued education and helping others. She worked for many years at UC Community Action Nutrition Program where she was a site manager. She was an Ombudsman for Ulster County. Judith was the past president of the Women's Club of Rosendale and participated in an education program for adults through SUNY New Paltz. Her last employment was at Trailways from which she retired.


She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald in 2013 and siblings Sue Dawes and David and Steven Carr. Caring mother of Ronald (Patricia) Dombrowski of Palenville and Scott (Penny) Dombrowski of Saugerties; Loving grandmother of Alex, Victoria Michael (Meredith) and Kaitlyn; great grandmother to Lily, Ben, Ian and Finn; sister of Jack (Barbara) Tierney and sister in law of Charles Dawes; Aunt to many nieces and nephews. 


Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday 10 AM at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., corner of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Burial will follow in the Blue Mt. Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  A memorial Tribute Book will be organized using condolences and photos shared with the family at In lieu of flowers; please donate to a charity of your choice.
