June Hunt Obituary
June R Hunt, 93 of Mount Marion, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
Born June 23rd, 1929, in Chester PA, she was the daughter of the late George Robert and Cora Short Reynolds.
After graduating from Boothwyn High School in 1947, she worked as a bookkeeper for Dupont in Wilmington, Delaware. She met her future husband, Walter in 1951 and they were married November 26th, 1954 once he returned from Air Force service in Japan. They relocated to New York, permanently settling in Mount Marion in 1956. She worked as a receptionist for Pine Street Pediatrics from 1987 to 2011.
She was an avid reader of American history, enjoyed crossword puzzles, baking and watching Yankees baseball. She was an active member in the Plattekill Reformed Church and enjoyed spending time with her friends, quilting and Bible study. She was a loving mother and wife.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Walter B Hunt Jr, two sons, Mark and David, a daughter Carol (Evan) Hunt and several nieces and nephews.
