Kathleen M. Campbell

SAUGERTIES…. Kathleen M. Campbell, 96, of Main St., passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 9, 2022.  Born April 13, 1926 in Saugerties she was the daughter of the late Lester and Lucy Stone Snyder and the stepdaughter of Tony Buytkins.   A life long area resident she was employed for many years at the former Lachmann’s Pastry Shop.  She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Snow RC Church.

Predeceased by her husband, Donald in 1995, survivors include her loving daughters: Lucille (Roger) French of Natick, MA., Diane Campbell-Overbaugh of West Camp, MaryJo (Frank) Kime of West Saugerties and Lorie (Douglas) Smith of Malden.  Eleven grandchildren: Denise (Lewis) Weeks, Richard Overbaugh, II, Darren (Amy), Devan (Jill), Damien (Michelle) Overbaugh,  D.Matthew (Colleen) French, Sarah (Mark) DeSimone, Scott, Brad (Brandi) and Ryan (Amy) Kime, and Donald Hillje.  18 Great Grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and several cousins also survive.  She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Donna Overbaugh Smith in October of 2021.

Her Funeral Procession will form 9:15 am Wednesday  at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.   Friends will be received Tuesday 3:00pm-6:00pm.
