Larry S. Snyder

PALENVILLE…..Larry S. Snyder, 76, of Pennsylvania Ave., passed away peacefully at his home, Monday, July 17, 2023.  Born August 13, 1946, in Kingston, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Olive Snyder.  A Veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the US Navy on board a destroyer, the U.S.S. Picking.  For over 35 years, he was employed by Dutchess Beer Distributors in Kingston.   When not working, he enjoyed antique Cars, boating, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, the former Judy Straub; a daughter, Jill and her husband, Richard Rothe of Saugerties; four beautiful grandchildren: Mason, Madeleine, Marlo and McCoy Rothe; two brothers: Mark of Kingston and Steve Snyder of Palenville; a sister, Linda Martin of VT and several nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Procession will form 10:15 AM Friday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties thence to St. Mary of the Snow where at 11:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Interment will follow in the Saratoga National Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 5-8:00 PM.
