Larry Winchester

SAUGERTIES……. Larry Winchester, 73, of Mill Lane Saugerties, NY died Friday, July 21, 2023 surrounded by his family.   Born April 17, 1950 in Chicago, IL he was the son of the late Leonard and Gertrude Winchester.    He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from   Western Illinois University in 1974. Larry was an area resident for 20 years.  Larry began his professional career developing industrial software at Metropolitan Equipment Co. in Lisle, IL.  He was the Northeast Regional Sales Manager of Hirschmann Electronics, Inc.,   before he became a partner of Ethernet Direct, Inc. in Newburyport, MA.  Larry was a lifelong model rail road, race car enthusiast, and hockey player.   Survivors include his wife, Dale, a step son, August Belfiglio and a brother, Leonard Winchester.   He was predeceased by his step daughter, Olivia Rose Belfiglio.  

His Funeral Procession will form 9:15 AM Wednesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM.   Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Larry’s Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com   The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Saugerties Animal Shelter.
