Lauren Legg Obituary
Lauren F. Legg, 70, of Rte. 32 died Thursday, June 4, 2026 at her residence. Born June 28, 1955 in Kingston she was the daughter of the late Lorin and Jeanette Polacco Clearwater.
A lifetime area resident she was employed as a bus driver for over 30 years. During that time she served as a CDL Instructor and examining officer. She also worked many years ago as a waitress at the former Dragon Inn on Rte. 9W in Saugerties.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, John; son, Blaze (Annemarie) Legg of Catskill and daughter, Azra (Charlie) Stracuzzi of Saugerties; brother, William Clearwater of CO; sister, Jeanette Manolis of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Caden, Gabriella, Madison and Liliana and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Saugerties VFW Post 5034. Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on her Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
