Leonard Brown Obituary
Leonard Brown, 83, of John Joy Rd., died Tuesday May 27, 2025 at the Northern Dutchess Hospital. He was born on February 4, 1942 in Detroit, MI to the late Leonard and Betty Rey Wittersheim. You may know him as Lenny aka Brolen aka Lucky Lenny, a musician, poet, traveller and spiritual leader. Norma Zotos was his muse these last years in Woodstock.
Above all, he enjoyed music and being a father and grand father. His family includes three children, Perce, of France, Cedric, of NJ and Julie Rusin, of Switzerland; and seven grandchildren.
His Funeral Service will be held 4 PM Monday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., cor. of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Visitation will be prior to service beginning at 2 PM.
