Linda Chabot Obituary
SAUGERTIES - Mary Linda Chabot of 155 Main St., died Saturday, November 2, 2024 after a brief illness. Born September 26, 1941 in Poughkeepsie she was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary Caplan. An area resident since 1998, Linda was an avid Giants and NY Mets fan. She served as a member of the Saugerties Public Library Board and always had a smile on her face and a conversation with all she met. Survivors include a daughter, Christine and her husband, Timothy Cotton of VA. Three grandchildren, Tim, Brian and Caitie and five great grandchildren also survive.
Her Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon on Wednesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Burial will follow in the Trinity Cemetery, Saugerties. Friends will be received Tuesday 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Sawyer Motors Foundation.
