SAUGERTIES – Linda C. Tyler, 76, of Rivka Rd. died March 6, 2024 at New Paltz Center Nursing Home, in New Paltz, NY. Born January 11, 1948 in Kingston, NY Linda was the daughter of the late Stanley and Doris (Post) Horne. An area resident for the majority of her life, survivors include her husband, Michael J., a daughter, Shannon L., her husband, Kenneth M. Brandt of McDonough, NY, a son, Joshua T.W. and his wife Jennifer J. Tyler-Zicot of Saugerties, NY. Linda’s grandchildren: Megan, Micaela, Jacob, Katelyn, Elijah, Raichel, Noah, Juliette, Jake, and Katie. A brother, Kenneth Horne of Kingston, cousins, and several great grandchildren also survive.
Linda was a kind, caring, genuine, and gentle soul, who loved her family and all she cared for with a selfless regard that will never be forgotten. Her love, caring and understanding knew no limits. The impact she made on those around her is, and was, extraordinary.
A Memorial Service will be held privately at a later date.
