Lorraine M. Wagner

SAUGERTIES….. Lorraine M. Wagner, 95, died Saturday, October 23, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her family.   Born September 10, 1927 in Brooklyn she was the daughter of the late Victor and Margaret MacLaughlin.

A Saugerties area resident since 1957, she previously resided in Brooklyn.  She was a former employee of the business office at the Benedictine Hospital. Lorraine was very active in the Saugerties community being a charter member of the Saugerties Columbiettes, and a parishioner over the years at St. Mary’s where she was active in the school and parish and currently St. Catherine Laboure where she was active Rosary Society member.  She was a former treasurer of the Catholic Daughters of America.

Predeceased by her husband, Robert, survivors include two sons: Robert of PA., and Mark (Serena) Wagner of Saugerties; three daughters: Lorranine (Gary) Florczyk of Lake View, Margaret Wagner and Patricia (Robert) Brandt both of Saugerties; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her brother, Victor.

Her Funeral Procession will form 9:15 AM Wednesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties thence to St. Catherine Laboure RC Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Ancient Order of Hibernians.   Friends will be received on Tuesday 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.  Further obituary information and expressions of condolence may be shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
