Margaret Granison

Margaret Granison of Lamb Ave, died Friday January 10, 2025, one day after her 98th birthday.

Her sister, a daughter, and a granddaughter were at her bedside.

Born January 9, 1927 in Brooklyn to Agnes Murno Cappello and James Cappello. Married Thomas G. Granison, August 17th 1957. Member of The Women's Club of Saugerties. Active in The Senior Citizen’s Center of Saugerties and IXL Health and Fitness Club. Interests were her husband, children and all of her family. She liked music and reading, was a knitter and was a good gardener. She was also a dedicated viewer of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

Survived by her daughters Peggy(Margaret) Shed and Carol Granison, her sister Marie Ellen Cappello, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents James and Agnes Cappello, daughter Faye Granison-Humphries, sister Dorothy Cappello and brothers, Dominick, Carl and Vincent Cappello and by her beloved husband Thomas on February 24th 2011.

Her Funeral Procession will form 10:15 AM Tuesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 11:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.   Entombment will follow in the Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston.   Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on her Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
