Margaret T. Lang

Margaret T. Lang, a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, at Ten Broeck Commons in Lake Katrine, NY. Born on January 20, 1932, in Glasco, NY, Margaret was the loving daughter of the late Frank and Rose Caruso Petramale. She had a love for cats and could be most remembered for her homemade tomato sauce and making sure there was plenty for all her visitors.

Margaret's legacy is carried on by her devoted family. She is survived by husband Peter A. Lang; her two sons, Peter (Cathy) Lang of Woodstock and Robert (Michelle) Lang of Selkirk; two daughters, Rosanne (Harold) Steinhilber and Joyce Doty both of Saugerties and a brother, Louis Petramale. She was a proud grandmother of Taylor, Savannah, Jessica, Jamie, James, Peter, Emma, Megan, Amanda, and Shannon and seven great grandchildren, always taking immense joy in her grandchildren's accomplishments and milestones.

Margaret was predeceased by her son Tim, sister Mary Martino, sister Lillian Mottsey, and brother Dominick Petramale . Their memories remain a treasured part of her story, as she often reminisced about the precious moments they shared.  

Her Funeral Procession will form 9:15 am Tuesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., Saugerties. Procession will continue to the St. Joseph's RC Church for a 10:00 Funeral Mass. Burial will follow in the St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery. Friends of Margaret may visit on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Saugerties Animal Shelter.
